What we offer
A day out with our Nature Explorers team provides an unforgettable learning experience for children from reception to secondary school ages. School groups, home education groups and more can book on to our weekly sessions. Through weekly Forest School, National Curriculum and Foundation Stage learning, our setting takes pride in boosting confidence, developing skills and building on the wellbeing and self-esteem of participants. Within our outreach programme, we can work with each school or group to develop rich and engaging outdoor sessions that have a focus on science, geography, art, and supporting holistic development and wellbeing. All of our activities are practical and hands-on - designed to involve participants in understanding the natural environment and to develop their investigative skills.

Weekly Forest School Sessions

We can also visit your school or meet at a local nature reserve and run our Forest School sessions for you. We will help to bring your wild spaces to life and engage the children in outdoor learning and connect with the wildlife on their doorstep. For more information please contact us.

CURRICULUM ENRICHMENT DAYS

It is great to start or end a topic with a celebration that gives children a practical, hands-on experience to enrich their learning and make great memories. We offer a wide range of experiences to support topics such as Minibeasts and Plants, as well as supporting storytelling and writing in literacy. We are always developing our topics and are happy to work to your requirements, so if you don’t find what you are looking for, just ask.
