History of Nettle Hill

In the early 80's Nettle Hill was brought by Together, a charity that set out to take the 7 acres and the 17th century farm house to new heights. They began by restoring the farm giving it the large 3 tier decking and a wonderful conservatory that really shows off the surrounding countryside. These modern twists are what makes Nettle Hill so special and now that we have gone social we want to show them off.

For many years before Together took it on Nettle Hill leant itself to farming all kind of animals from sheep to horses, we have had a few animal visitors that were a little unexpected but were welcome no the less. We try to keep the grounds as natural as possible to encourage the wildlife to grow all around the site, making Nettle Hill a beautiful retreat away from the busy city. Now Nettle Hill is a top-tier venue based in 7 acres of countryside between Coventry, Birmingham and Leicester. With easy access from the M6, M1 and M69 you feel miles away from the city but yet you’re just around the corner. With events that run across the whole year, from our Blitz themed party to afternoon tea, there is something for everyone.

Here at Nettle Hill we are dedicated to all aspects of the day and by having our own on site registrars we are all about taking the stress out of the day.

Nettle Hill is very proud of the rural beauty of its venue and the Warwickshire countryside that surrounds us.

By giving the couples the exclusive use of its facilities we will endeavour to make sure the wedding party are blown away by all aspects of the day including the 7 acres of grounds to that they are free to roam.

Nettle Hill strives to work and build relationships with the best suppliers in the industry enabling us to provide each couple with bespoke food, drinks and entertainment on the day. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of service but also to make you feel at home.

We are here for each couple on the day right through from the planning to the end of the night. We shall be here to make sure it is a hallmark event that you will never forget
