COVID - Response and Re Opening (June 2020)

Updated: Oct 7, 2021

We are currently working hard on how we will re-open our conference facilities here at Nettle Hill. Taking into consideration the current government guideline.

During this season Nettle Hill has been working on developing some new and exciting opportunities at the venue that we are excited open in the very near future. The General manger Abigail Lynch will be looking to re-open the conference facilities as soon the government guidelines allows. The re-open of Nettle Hill will include some changes to the way we currently run.

Nettle Hill is set to make the following changes: -

Fogging of the rooms

before and after each group have been in a room we fog the area with disinfectant.

One-way System

There will be a clearly signed posted one-way system in all the buildings and we ask that you kindly follow the signs around the site

On booking your room with us at Nettle Hill, you will be asked to fill in a servery that informs us of your arrival times, break times, end time. Any other activities you wish to do while with us on site. These forms will enable us to look at all the groups attending on the day and ensure there is no cross over of timings.

Room layout

All rooms will be set within the current government guidelines of a 2-meter distance or back to back working. These set ups will be discussed with you at the booking stage and will not be able to be changed on the day of the event.

Staggered entrance times

Once booked with us you will be allocated an arrival time in line with your booking. This is to ensure that we are always aiming to minimise the mixing of groups on site. You will be asked to go straight to your room that will be clearly signposted on the day and will be prearranged with you at booking.

Arrival to the room

You will be greeted by one of our staff members that will be your host for the day, they will provide your lunch, refreshments and any technique needs you require. Within your room you will be given a itinerary of the day that will highlight your refreshment times and when your host will need access to the room.

Refreshments will no be served inside the room, to minimise gatherings in the communal areas

Will be served at a given time within your room, to minimise gatherings in the communal areas at a set time that will be per arranged before your arrival on the day.

Nettle Hill will be disinfected and cleaned before and after every booking to ensure the safety of its guest.
