Forest School Badges June / July - Releasing Potential Award Scheme

Nature Explorers Forest School, Nettle Hill, are participating in the Forest School Award Scheme! An optional and ongoing scheme that enables children to track their progress in seven different outdoor activities. There are 21 Forest School badges to collect that vary in levels that you can earn over your time at Forest School.

Forest School enables children to learn and grow in many skills and abilities including cooking, craft, den building, fire skills, environmental skills, tool skills and nature observation. Over time and after demonstrating the necessary skills, your child can receive badges for various skills and across different levels. There is a Forest School Passport for each child to track their progress towards their badges.

The scheme is aimed at children aged 4+ but you are able to start the scheme earlier if you would like to. There are badges to earn from the simplest outdoor skills to the most challenging!
