Christian permaculture with Dave Barker

Dave Barker – Dad, pastor, allotmenteer, soon to be bee-keeper and wanna be farmer.

Dave studied and practiced permaculture (an organic agriculture design system) in Kenya where he lived with his wife for two years.   Now he is implementing permaculture principles in Coventry whilst pastoring a church and exploring a wholistic biblical theology of creation care.   He is passionate about food (growing it, cooking it and eating it!!!!) playing music, his chickens, hospitality and wine-making.   He is excited to be involved at Nettle Hill and see how its vision of sustainability develops.
